Every single creative entrepreneur you meet is struggling in some way. We tend to see one another as completely foreign individuals. No matter how expensive the suit or how pretty the make-up, they are looking for meaning, to be relevant, to be worthy, to realise their dream that they are working at manifesting, to have an impact on the world around them doing what they believe in. They are trying to do the best they can and they fail. Regularly. They're within their own particular battle in their business. So cut them some slack. Don't let them off the hook but recognise the shared nature of being a human being. Let people be themselves. Make some allowances for them. Treat people a little bit more kindly.
In the truest sense of community, you can find ways to help one another. Facilitate meaningful connections and refer creative entrepreneurs for business opportunities you are aware of. Help advise a fellow creative entrepreneur suffering from challenges you have already gone through with advice only you can impart. Hire the services of creative entrepreneurs.
Together we can help one another, as a community we are stronger. A community that understands what it means to really be a creative entrepreneur. Like minded individuals who are in the game because it is their passion and purpose. Not because it’s cool, not because it's the next best thing, and not just for the money. This small, close-knit community needs to come together to share, learn, and take the practice of creative entrepreneurship to its next level: to collectively create positive impact.
Calling all believers. Find a way to be kind TODAY.
